About MeÂ
Behind Finding HersÂ
Hi, I'm Dominique.  I'm a behavior support specialist with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College, and I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University.
My curiosity about human behavior is both personal and academic.
I grew up in a high-control religious environment, where expectations surrounding identity, expression, and belonging influenced much of my early understanding of myself and the world around me.
As I began exploring life beyond that environment, I became increasingly curious about the ways our experiences shape how we think, behave, and relate to ourselves and others.
My education has given me a scientific framework for studying behavior, while my lived experiences continue to remind me of the complexity of being human.
I'm particularly interested in the patterns we repeat, the labels we use to describe ourselves, and how our environments and experiences influence the choices available to us.
Finding Hers is where these interests meet. It's a space where I translate behavioral concepts into everyday language, inviting people to observe their own patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.

"I'm not here to tell you who you are or who you should become. I'm interested in helping you recognize what you do, understand the circumstances surrounding it, and explore what else might be possible."
